As an artist, Nirupa Naik thinks that the more you understand and appreciate art from different eras, styles, techniques, movements and so on, it helps to evaluate and improve one’s own work.
Every artist has individual styles, and Nirupa paints not just for her personal satisfaction, but also to enhance the pleasure the viewer derives when looking at it.
For her each and every object that she carefully chooses from nature to paint certainly has a significant role to play in either her own life or in the society at large and not just because they are in her vicinity.
Her innermost childhood memories, dreams, folktales and literature, a kind of feelings come with her which she tries to communicate and arrange with the help of symbol form, colours and space and try to communicate with the audience.
